Love finds a way to be constructive.
Love has so many meanings based on the context in which it is used. The definition I choose to use is that referring to a principle that is impersonal, constructive and flowing from the heart.
When you first start dating someone you like, the body releases chemicals that are quite literally intoxicating. These chemicals cause you to want to be with that person all the time, stay up all night talking with them and have sex with them as often as possible.
But a year or two later the chemicals change. The intoxicating chemicals are replaced by ‘stability’ chemicals. The powerful sex drive chemicals go away and settle-down-raise-a-family chemicals take over. It’s all just natural chemical reactions.
Theresa Crenshaw explains the process in her book “The Alchemy of Love and Lust”.
We are truly chemical factories that didn't come with an instruction manual. And because we don't know ourselves we tend to make the same errors over and over again in our relationships with each other. We keep bumping our head in the same place over and over again. Surely we have learned something in the 40+ years of sexual liberation that we have experienced here in the USA. Well I would like to share what I have learned.
Lust is an insidious emotion that causes a person to operate from a purely animalistic state as it relates to ones relationship with others. People are seen as objects of sexual desire, and not as brothers and sisters who have a divine and sacred purpose for being here on earth and in relationships. Lust crosses all gender and age boundaries, for it only sees and values others as sex objects. As sex objects people are preyed upon and exploited in a never ending series of conquests and competitions. Lust leads to fornication outside of marriage and adultery within marriage. Lust can never be satisfied, as it is insatiable. It must be eliminated from one’s emotions. It’s genesis can be found in the mother during the time of conception and gestation. When a pregnant female is un-nurtured, un-loved, dis-honored, and the object of violent aggression, she develops a longing for nurturing, love, honor and peace. This longing is filtered through her pain and translates into lust in her unborn child. The offspring are thus born lustful and grow-up to be fornicators and adulterers.
Once lust is eliminated, a state of natural affection is experienced. One seeks to be naturally affectionate with others and expresses this in eye gazing, hugs, kisses, stroking and cuddling. The person then experiences the dynamic energy exchange that occurs when two human bodies are in close proximity to one another void of lust. At this point a person is capable of experiencing Constitutional Intimacy, which allows a couple to respect, dignify, honor and nurture each other to wholeness and completeness.
For over five thousand years, women have had to resort to trickery, slyness, slander, manipulation, cunning and chicanery to get what they both wanted and needed for they were denied that most sacred of right, the right to vote. For thousands of years women were walked upon by their sons and treated as cattle, slaves and undesirables by the evil despotism of males. The woman thus in order to cope developed a passive aggressive character structure that has never been uprooted to this day, even though the right to vote has been secured by way of much blood, suffering and tears by brave women who understood the value of freedom.
With a duplicity that rivals none women learned to show the sweet, beauty that captured the hearts of men and speak in the most melodious vocal tones to soothe the savage beast and then betray all that is sacred and holy. She donned her finest and went to church, proclaimed herself Christian and having faith that would move mountains, and then went home and used ever barbarism known to man to beat, maim and torture those deemed lower than her both children, her so-called slaves.
Modern day soap operas depict vividly the extremes that a woman will go through to get a male the object of most women's desire. Scheming, plotting, slow poisoning, supporting his most cherished dreams and then the dagger. There is no length that a female will go in her desire to possess or be possessed by a male of her choosing. If another female is in the way or in a role that is desirable like wife, mistress or fiancée, then she simply becomes a causality of war, where all is suppose to be fair.
Having no outer light of her own, just like the moon, women seek the external light (approval, acceptance, sexual favors, money, title of wife, mistress and support) of a male to illumine her or give her value (false). This need comes from the thousands of years of women having no value except as sex objects and baby factories. The more brilliant, famous, charismatic, charming, rich or desirable the male, the more cunning her skills had to be to achieve the status of wife, lover, his woman. She will even use other men as leverage in her climb to her stated goal as she weaves aweb of deceit and lies. She seeks to be known as the possession of a great and powerful male for in the eyes of society, this gives her access to his power which in many instances was the power of life or death when he was an absolute ruler. To further her ends even his life was expendable if he ignored her advances.
These women were cultivated by there mothers in the ways of the female seductress. They are schooled to develop there cunning and emotional sway over the unsuspecting male species who discharged emotions and the female as having no value, thus leaving themselves vulnerable to forces they know nothing of because of there conclusion.
These woman are void of self-knowledge for with it she would know that the true light she needs, resides within the depths of her inner being which she must dive deep into the darkness to unveil, in order to gain the pearls and gems that lie in wait. She is not the moon which has no light. She simply changes like the moon and is controlled as are the tides by its ebb and flow. The tides within her are her hormones, and the whole of her watery essence. With knowledge of self, she learns what her cycles are and how to master herself and thus magnetize to her, the right circumstances and conditions for the manifestation of the perfect and most complimentary male without resorting to trickery, witch craft, spells or death potions.
Women's powers are without limits, and yet the average female is totally unconscious of her powers and thus has no control over them and thus recklessly destroy lives and communities through wanton, selfish actions. For we can either build or destroy, and males are helpless prey that we give the assumption of power to in order to further our unconscious goals.
Without conscious heartfelf realization, even if a thing exists, it is as if it did not exist.

Males relate to power in physical terms. They are presently ruled by the pack mentality or pecking order, similar to wolves and wild dogs. They have developed the hierarchy of the alpha male and alpha female which fuels there own destruction. In order to maintain this system of animal relations males must step outside of the realm of human interactions, for in truth we are not animals and need never resort to animal like behavior when we attain our true powers as MAN.
When man comes to himself and comprehends the fact that he is son of God, and knows that in himself lie all the powers of God, he is a master mind and all the elements will hear his voice and gladly do his will.

When man seeks to imitate the animal social structures, he/she steps beneath the human estate. Man (females and their sons) is the crown of creation, the sum total of all created things, possessing an aspect of all living things (mineral, plant, animal and ether) within. Man is both the created and the Creator. The beginning and the end. Man thus has to set the order for all living things. It is the responsibility and duty of man to have dominion of the earth and all the created things, including the body that man inhabits as a vehicle for earth usage. When man stoops to imitate an animal, man is abdicating his/her sovereign rights and falls into chaos and confusion. As animal man, the end result is violence. Animal man is prisoner of the flesh, a grand being trapped in a physical shell, and incapable of seeing a light route by which to escape.
In this world of illusion where the physical is worshiped, desired and valued over principles like love, truth, justice, freedom, equality (that make the physical manifestation possible), we women have set in motion a violent social structure that only we can unravel. We now have the right to vote, and here in America we are protected by law from cruelty, slavery, despotism and other acts designed to destroy us. American women have no excuse to continue to resort to the ways of old that suffrage wroth. We bring forth life, both male and female and we set in motion in each child we birth the most dominant aspect of ourselves. If we are fearful our sons and daughters will operate out of fear and continue to engage in reptilian brain, fight and flight actions. If we are fearless and love then the heart will rule our offspring and they will create a new world based on nonviolence and the threat of nonexistence will be no more.
We need not avenge or reduplicate our mothers who were the product of there times. We need to free our ancestors from the slavery of the past by living free today. It is time for the free woman to arise and give light in a dark and dreary lifeless world. Arise my sisters and spread the light of freedom around the world so that all of our sisters can be free, no longer tormented by the archaic institutions that enslave and deny them the right to life, liberty, health and the pursuit of happiness. Arise, I say.
The first order of business in arising is to engage in self-study, because you can't control and love what you don't know. Make yourself a priority and learn to know yourself. You matter. Do you! The Old Shadow of Women Violating Other Women
I awakened this morning tormented by an old shadow wound. This wound involved women ringing my parents doorbell looking for my father. My mother would get so upset and one time got in a fight with one of the women and often times got into a physical fight over this with my father. I remember cringing as a child and the fear I had that I might lose my mother to death or injury. I never understood why a woman would come to my home and disturb my household like that.
Even as I grew older I never understood why women have so much disrespect for each other. I had girlfriends and we would make plans and if a boy asked them to do something with them, they would drop everything that we had planned to go off with the boy.
In my first affair I became intimate with a male who was married, but he had lied and told me he was not. Yet he was living with a woman and I continued in the relationship. He said he didn’t really like her, but that she paid his bills. So somehow in my twisted mind, I believed that he liked me better and that I was more important than she was to him. Later I found out that he was married and I went to his home to confront him in his lie and to let his wife know that I was sorry for what I had done.
After this I determined that I would not date men who had females that they were in relationship with, whether married or not. So I dated single men and if one of my female friends showed a liking to the man, I would stop relating to him sexually and work to concretize their relationship and all of us would be friends, but I would not have sex with the man anymore.
After my near death experience with a botched abortion I concluded that I didn’t need to have sex with any man who I would not want to be the father of my child, so I became a celibate. Then I met my husband who was in the final stages of his wife divorcing him. He proposed polygamy as a way of relating given that monogamy was obviously not working. He concluded that it would be better to lock the backdoor where most relationships existed, and open the front door inviting women into the relationship and having everything above board, I agreed and for fifteen years I invited women to join my marriage. Some did, some didn’t. Some still choose to go to the back door and my husband accommodated them and even lied about what he was doing. I learned in the process to uproot fear, jealousy, competition and envy.
My husband was a very charismatic personality of world renown and women flocked to him like a magnet. Even those I invited to join our marriage came with the intention of getting rid of me. Then one woman came who was capable of being a sister to me, a wife to my husband and a mother to my children. We did not engage in threesome sex, lesbianism or anything hanky. We loved each other to the best of our ability and she and I grew together and remain sisters to this day. Other than my mother she was the only woman that I trusted to take care of my children. Even after we concluded that our husband was not committed to marriage or family we remained friends. Today my children go to her for advise and sometimes I have to find out what is going on in their lives through her. I am eternally grateful for all the heart aches and trials and tribulations I went through to finally find this gem of a sister. She is irreplaceable.
In order to get my life back after my botched abortion, I vowed to work to create a world where women do not even have to consider having an abortion. It was obvious to me that there was something that I didn’t know that caused me to get pregnant when I didn’t want to. In 1996, I began working full-time on this process. I literally turned myself over to God to provide for me, direct me and nurture me without any visible means of income. I experienced some of the most wonderful creations and have never been hungry, homeless or in danger (even though I have been in dangerous situations, as I started this journey being placed for two and a half years in hell, which was the headquarters of the most notorious street gang ever formed The El Rukns, in Chicago, IL).
Starting in 1998, I would awaken in the morning and God would channel information to me that I would write. Then I was told to prove that what was written was true. So I would seek out information to prove it and there was always proof. It got to the point where I didn’t know whether I had written something or someone else had. This material was turned into a series of charting calendars for females so that they could learn to know themselves. My motto is, “You can’t control or love what you don’t know.”
In that we as females are always going through changes we must have a way of monitoring the changes that occur. This is best done with a moon calendar. So I have created a series of moon calendars. I published two books this year, LunaQueen, The Divinely Feminine Art Of Using A Lunar Charting Calendar and LunaQueen, The Journey From Lunatic To LunaQueen. (Available at lulu.com) I have just completed, The Rise of the Free Woman 2011 Moontime Calendar, which is a true moon calendar. All of these productions are designed to empower females by the gaining of self-knowledge.
Unfortunately, I have come to find that many females do not value themselves enough to take the time to get to know them self. Most I find are too busy competing with males, comparing themselves to males, chasing males, and becoming males. Male/female conquest is the order of the day and we have yet to awaken to the beauty, majesty, honor, abundance and joy that is within us.
It is a surety that if we don’t love and respect ourselves as females and self-kind (other females) that we cannot have a successful relationship with males for they are so different from us. It is time that we free ourselves from the curse that is written of in the Holy Bible in Genesis, “And your desire shall be for your husband and he shall rule over you.” When we live under this curse we have no value, care, concern or positive intentions for our sisters. This must stop and only we have the power to stop it. Curses are not forever, they only last as long as people are unconscious to their error, which I wrote about in The Theology of Eve.
So I say to you my sister and my sisters, let us stop trampling upon each other, and each others relationships, let’s come together and learn of ourselves, so we can truly be ourselves and give birth to a new generation of people who are conceived in love and dedicated to the purpose of serving humanity and God. When we know ourselves as spirit, mind, emotion and body we have the knowledge of our cycles and we can thus be masters of them, rather than the present where the forces of the moon control us. We must come out from under the moon (sin) forces and use them for good in consciousness.

"No Human Contact Rulings" Man's Inhumanity To Man
Surely, a time will come when brothers will not attempt anymore to lord it over each other. When mankind will be self-governing, because MAN possess SELF-Love. And therefore the heart is opened so that LOVE can FLOW. A time when heart attacks are no more.
That day when man gives up pointing fingers at each other, while claiming one is more of a threat and to be enslaved forever. That day when each and every male, female and child recognize that what is done to one of us is done to all of us. That we must LOVE ourselves with all the LOVE that the UNIVERSE can give us as we overflow from our cup with LOVE for ONE another.

It is a noose around your necks
A self-constructed noose I must add.
That means you can take it a loose at anytime.
Sin is of the curse you see. Living under a curse
is a choice now.
Just like after African American people were protected in riding
on the buses throughout the south by Federal Law, they still
gravitated to the back of the bus, because it had been so ingrained
in them to do this. Many European volunteers and students had to
help coax them to sit up front with them. They had to have permission.

He understands. He does not judge you no
matter what your sin. He already forgave those
who would take His Life. He holds no grudges.
He's there to welcome you into the Kingdom.
He's there to give you
The Right Hand or Arm of Fellowship
He is merciful and wants only the very best for you and your family.
He would that all people do likewise and want for there brother and sister what is right, what is holy, what is loving. Of course one has to want this for Self.
And that's the Choice you have to make.
And only you can make it because
the Second Supreme Law is that you have
FREE WILL.
You can choose to engage in or shun evil.
You can choose to live in the light or hide like a cinch in the darkness seeking to
suck the life blood out of the planet, or out of another human being.
When do you confront Satan and his demons and devils who are their e to tempt you to do evil, they don't make you do evil, they just tempt you (like when a person is framed to commit a crime, they however cannot give false testimony, they have to tell the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth, because of The Lord God's Dominion. They cannot tempt the Lord or The Lord God, just fallen humanity). Want you rise and shine and give The Lord GOD, the GLORY, And walk down Freedom Paths.
When do you have a little talk with the devils and say, Cease and desist troubling me. Go live in a tree and then plant some trees in honor of this spirits departure.
There is life beyond sin. There is a life that is free flowing like the rhythms of the music of the spheres.
Comparing ones sin to another's is futile, a dead end, a waste of time and energy. It's like getting with some folks and comparing the shit, Whose shit spells the worse. All shit sinks, I don't care whose it is except a breast fed babies. One must be diligent in mining ones own sin and harvesting the Fruits of the SPIRIT. LOVE, TRUTH, PEACE, FREEDOM, JUSTICE, JOY, ABUNDANCE, HAPPINESS ….
This means by dear brothers and sisters that we have to devise a working system that educates us to live a prayerful life, a prayer filled life. A life that is build on prayer.

My Father (this is a personal prayer) which art in heaven,

as I forgive those who sin against me and others.

They cannot tempt the Lord or The Lord God, just fallen humanity). Want you rise and shine and give The Lord GOD, the GLORY, And walk down Freedom Paths.
When do you have a little talk with the devils and say, Cease and desist troubling me. Go live in a tree and then plant some trees in honor of this spirits departure.
There is life beyond sin. There is a life that is free flowing like the rhythms of the music of the spheres.
Comparing ones sin to another's is futile, a dead end, a waste of time and energy. It's like getting with some folks and comparing the shit, Whose shit spells the worse. All shit sinks, I don't care whose it is except a breast fed babies. One must be diligent in mining ones own sin and harvesting the Fruits of the SPIRIT. LOVE, TRUTH, PEACE, FREEDOM, JUSTICE, JOY, ABUNDANCE, HAPPINESS ….
This means by dear brothers and sisters that we have to devise a working system that educates us to live a prayerful life, a prayer filled life. A life that is build on prayer.

Interview Of Helen Bevel
Interview with Helen Bevel
The following is the text from an interview by a person who chooses to remain anonymous and Helen Bevel, the wife of Reverend James Luther Bevel and the mother of Aaralyn Mills. This interview took place during April, 2010.
Interviewer - Good Afternoon. I’m so glad you have agreed to this interview.
Helen Bevel – Well I’m looking forward to it. Thank you for asking.
I – Now, Mrs. Bevel..
H – You can call me Helen
I – Okay, Helen you were married to Reverend James L. Bevel and the two of you had six children is that correct?
H – My late husband and I had five children, three girls and two boys. I had a daughter when I met Bevel.
I – Where you and Rev. Bevel divorced?
H – Yes, however in our tradition divorce like marriage is really just a piece of paper. I mean we were married 13 years before we made it legal in 1981. So the divorce didn’t end our marriage although many people based on the cultural norm believed we did, and acted in that manner.
I – So are you saying that in your tradition marriage is forever even though you may go thru divorce proceedings, other legal marriages, etc.
H – Yes, that is what I am saying. Marriage is an agreement and the agreement does not depend on paper or legal structures. It’s between the parties and God.
I – So what agreement did you and Rev. Bevel have?
H – Well, we agreed that the society as it is is based on a violent foundation which was rooted in the people that make up the society (including ourselves). So the next agreement was that each of us would work to eradicate from our self all aspects of the society and create a new society or system of relationships that is built on being healthy (physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually) and nonviolence.
I – Sounds like this agreement would include many others.
H – Yes, that is true; we further agreed to have children and to raise them to be healthy and nonviolent.
I – So excuse me for my bluntness, but wasn’t Rev. Bevel accused and found guilty of engaging in incest with one of your daughters as a minor? Did that nullify the agreement?
H – I can see how you would come to such a conclusion however, I said the agreement takes into account that we were born in sin and shaped in iniquity or a violent society and that we would work to get the violence out of ourselves. Incest and all sexual perversions are a part of this violent society. I mean no child is born a criminal. Criminal activity is something you learn. It is learned behavior not nature’s plan. Uprooting the particular malady and finding means and methods for doing this is a work in progress.
I – Do you believe that pedophilia or sexual offenders can be rehabilitated. It is a belief in the society that they can’t be healed.
H – Again the violent society has a lot of dead ends that say something can’t be done. Where there is a will there is a way, and whatever the mind of man can conceive, the mind of man can achieve. I believe that a person can be restored to the state of purity and innocence that they came to the planet with and let me add the level of health. And in that I believe this is achievable.
I – That’s interesting. How would you know if a person has overcome pedophilia? Do you chance them interacting with a child and abusing another one?
H – Well, there maybe several ways, but I know bio-feedback is one sure way. You just connect a person up to the electrodes and show them pictures of children and if they have the problem after therapy then it will show up on the register. I mean I never agreed with alcoholics anonymous (once an alcoholic, always an alcoholic). Alcoholism has a cause and the cause can be known and eliminated leaving the person whole once again. Alcoholism is not the norm, but a malady that has taken the person away from the norm. As a violent society violence is the norm and you have to understand this.
I – I hear you; I will have to do some research on biofeedback to determine the validity of what you said.
H – The lie detector test is based on bio-feedback. And let me say that “All truth carries proof.”
I – Okay. So I understand that it was your daughter that pressed charges against her father. Do you have any animosity towards Bevel for what he did?
H – I once did. It took a long time for me to overcome my hatred and animosity. There was even a time when I plotted to kill him. Once I had the means, my compassionate nature kicked in and I just wanted to see him healed. I realized that I had been forgiven for having murdered my unborn child once (abortion), which I consider a worse crime than what he did. I mean I took a child’s life, so that the child would never see the light of day. He ruined a child’s life with the possibility of her being able to heal herself. So God forgave me for my sin, who was I to not forgive another. My greatest regret is that he never experienced living void of the lie, guilt, shame and fear around what he did.
I – The lie, what are you referring to?
H – Well, Bevel never acknowledged that he did what he did.
I – Are you sure that he did do it. I mean considering his record of achievement one would have to question if he were set-up or whether there was a conspiracy to destroy his character, which is what he said happened.
H – There is a scripture that states, “When a man’s ways please the Lord, he makes even his enemy to be at peace with him.” There is no doubt in my mind that he molested our daughter.
I – Why do you say that?
H – Well we raised our children to tell the truth. One of the only things they would get in trouble for was lying. Our daughter would never concoct a lie on her father, she loved her father and if she said he did it, he did it. Our daughter had a rich relationship with her father beyond the sexual input he imposed. They had a real father-daughter relationship.
I – What do you mean by a real father-daughter relationship?
H – I mean a relationship where daddy makes sure that you get up on time for school and have breakfast that he cooks. Where he takes you shopping, helps you resolve conflict with siblings and other, gives you good advice and engages in meaningful work projects with you. This is what I mean.
I – So you are saying that Bevel lied.
H – Yes he lied and he did not have the courage or the needed support to tell the truth.
I – What support would he need to tell the truth?
H – Well, we created an environment for our children whereby they could tell the truth without fear of punishment. The truth about anything would call for a discussion and examination of what ever the problem was. Bevel did not have any support for telling the truth. In fact many of those around him before and during the trial acted like sycophants. They would not even consider that Bevel had erred and examine all the facts. They just acted as if he needed there protection and went on to create a conspiracy theory. It is said that a good death is one where a person gets to speak the truth about themselves and reconcile with those close to them.
I - So your children were raised to tell the truth?
H – Yes. Now Bevel was not raised to tell the truth. In fact as a Black man, in order for him to maintain his life he had to tell a lie. Telling the truth was against the law just like reading.
I – What do you mean, please explain that.
H – Black men had to lie and act like it was alright when there mothers, wives, daughters and others were raped or murdered. They had to lie and pretend that they went along with White folk’s insanity. Bevel was born on Joe Peu’s Plantation in IttaBena, Mississippi, and he learned all the mannerisms of the plantation, as did everyone in the south. Of course there were some brave souls who knew the true and living God that garnished the respect of some White folk, but by and large the majority were afraid to stand up and speak and be the truth.
I – Really?
H – Yes, now when you study the plantation system you find a number of maladies that people suffer from having there origin there. The prison industrial complex is no different and the so-called justice system is not about justice but punishment. Incest has a foundation in slavery and the plantation system and sexual perversion permeates the penal systems. There is no justice and no avenue for people to be truthful, lest they accept punishment which is cruel and inhumane.
I – How is incest connected to the plantation system?
H – Well, slaves did not have the luxury of pursuing relationship on other plantations. I mean Tom, couldn’t say, “Master Joe, I’m going over to Master Sam’s Plantation to court Ms. Sue.” No, this was not possible. Slaves on a plantation had to release their sexual energy with those who were on the same plantation and most often those were relatives, especially on the small plantations. So incest proliferated. This practice didn’t just go away in the people living in the 21st century or after the Civil Rights Act or The Right to Vote Movement. There has been no therapeutic process to eradicate the trauma, ills and injuries that slavery produced for over 400 years here in the Americas. These landmark agreements which Bevel was greatly instrumental in forging were not therapeutic; they were social contracts that had limitations. Inbreeding on the plantation became the norm. The only time plantation occupants got to mate outside of family members was when the stud (who was taken from plantation to plantation) showed up or when the females were taken to the horrendous stud farms, or when the master, his sons, or the overseer or visiting White male raped the Black woman. So this type of interaction is a learned behavior which became acceptable. There is a lot of guilt and shame around it, especially when a person like Bevel realizes that it is not acceptable in the larger society, however what could he do. When you are raised to act a certain way from childhood, even if it is bad behavior, other than a therapeutic process being engaged in to correct the behavior it consists. If you were raised to speak Spanish and found yourself being punished if you spoke Spanish, you would have to learn Spanish and still your English might slip sometimes while talking.
I – I can see a lot in what you are saying. So Bevel was a product of the plantation system and incest was acceptable.
H – Correct.
I – Well, didn’t he know it was wrong?
H – I’m sure a part of him understood this, but there was the other part that was a victim of incest and sexual molestation that had not been healed. He was a victim as a child.
I – Are you saying that he had two personalities?
H – Maybe more. I believe he had many personalities.
I – How did you come to that conclusion?
H – I lived with him for 15 years. We lived together, worked together, traveled together. Most times we were inseparable. In that time I got to see a lot, but I never saw the sexual perversion. That part of him didn’t come out around me except if you look at his wanting many wives.
I – So you didn’t know he was incestuous is that correct?
H – When I met Bevel I was 22 years old and had lived a pretty sheltered life. He was 35 and completed a major part of his movement work. I didn’t know incest or sexual perversions existed. So if it did show its ugly head I probably would have been ignorant of the signs and symptoms. I was shocked when I found out about what he had done to our daughter and developed amnesia because I couldn’t cope with it. I could not understand how he could have done. It took me years and therapy to come to grips with it, just the possibility much less the acceptance that he did it. I had gotten to know the personalities of the great liberator, the problem solver, the clinician, the brother, the husband, the father the giver, the advisor, the orator, the preacher, the teacher, the farmer, the historical figure, the philosopher, the nonviolent scientist, the angry man, the physically abusive man, the man who could curse like a sailor, and the sexually promiscuous man. In my wildest dreams I could never have imagined that he would have a desire to have sex with a child. Practically every women that he met would throw herself at him, so he had a lot of women to choose from all the time. The word enigma would adequately define Bevel.
I – How is your daughter doing?
H – She is still healing as is all of our family. The trial, family disputes and breakups all of that was quite an ordeal. My daughter did what she had been told to do by her father. He told her to never let anyone oppress her and if someone tried to then she was to do whatever had to be done to eliminate the oppression. She is very brave and was torn in having to take her father to court. She and her siblings (many from other wives) attempted to reason with him outside of court, but he had pride which the Bible says goeth before a fall.
I – What lesson did you get from all of that?
H – More than anything I saw the workings of God who has shown by the example of Bevel that no matter who a person is they are fallible and subject to be in error. Man is not to be worshipped. Any good works that man (male/female) do are under the auspices of God who is due the credit. In addition I see how God put this impediment on Bevel so that the world would be forced to look at the sexual abuse of children and do something about it. I mean what more vivid example of this problem is there? The fact that it could exist in a man like Bevel is evidence that all of us, our children and future generations are not safe. Can there be a more vivid example than a man of Bevel’s caliber and achievements?. If he didn’t have this impediment he would have been damn near perfect. I like to say, “A flawed diamond is better than a perfect brick.” Bevel was a diamond that was flawed, and yet even in this state he was able to create a revolution that aided in the growth and development of man towards a nonviolent civilized status. Those who throw stones at him, need to look at their lives and wonder, what have I done in my unflawed (brick like) state. “He who is without sin let him cast the first stone.”
I – So you see all of this as an act of God?
H – Yes, God can take anyone and use them for his good work. Bevel did good works during his life; most of it was directed at healing himself of the ravages of slavery. He worked to overcome the limitations and injuries that injustice wrought. He however was incapable of overcoming his sexual addiction, because the society had not advanced a therapy capable of healing sexual perversions. So he suffered all of his life. He never knew peace, justice or forgiveness, nor the honor that is due someone who has given so much and this is the saddest part of all. Bevel set-up nonviolent clinical contexts, which I now understand more clearly now. He was seeking to heal himself. He constantly challenged himself on his lust and promiscuity. He questioned his actions and the actions of those around him. He had few peers in this. He crucified himself daily, but I didn’t understand what was at the root of his strivings and searching. He didn’t want lust to control him, but he was incapable of uprooting it because the therapies capable of doing this were not available to him.
I – Yes, Reverend Bevel did a lot of good in his lifetime, I must agree. A lot of his good works are not even known.
H – This is true. Most of the credit that is due him is given to Dr. King who was the spokesman for the organization and others, whereas Bevel was the man behind the scenes initiating actions, organizing people, teaching nonviolence, refusing to compromise, and maintaining the nonviolent posture until demands were met.
I – I heard that you are writing a book about Bevel, is this true?
H – Yes I am writing a book call “The Luthers, James and Martin, Bevel and King.”
I – Why Luther?
H – Because both of their middle names are Luther.
I – Oh, what a wonderful title and I can’t wait to read the book.
H – I am asking anyone who knew the two of them together or separately to share their experience so that I can make it a part of the book.
I – You just published two other books recently is that correct? Please tell me about them.
H – I just published two books that are available at lulu.com. They are “LunaQueen, The Divinely Feminine Art of Using A Lunar Charting Calendar For Self-Care” and “LunaQueen, The Journey From Lunatic To LunaQueen.”
I – Interesting titles. What are they about?
M – These books are designed to challenge females at their core to take a look at how their actions have led to the crisis in the world today. Females are very powerful being and our power for the most part is being used unconsciously to the detriment of all. For example females say they want to be free, however freedom entails responsibility. How can females claim to be responsible when the only so-called achievement in forty+ years is hailed as Roe vs. Wade or the right to murder and unborn child. Females waste money, time, energy and resources fighting for a so-called choice that is merely a reaction to a failure to plan. Choice does not take place after the sex act but before. Everyone knows that sex can lead to conception so the choice has to be made before the sex act, with a conscious plan as to whether to achieve or avoid conception. This is a choice that is both responsible and empowering, and it is a primary choice.
I – Didn’t you say you had an abortion earlier?
H – Yes, this is how I got involved in this line of work. I had to do recompense for my actions. There is always a price to pay for error. Mine is to bring consciousness of the unconsciousness in females that cause these things to happen. The first book provides females of all ages with a lunar charting calendar that can be used to study the self and to empower the self. It also provides a curriculum in principled living. The second book provides females with proof of lunacy and a means for examining lunatic actions and changing them to LunaQueen actions.
I – What is a lunatic?
H – A lunatic is a female or her son that is influenced by external forces with no understanding or knowledge of these forces as a result of a lack of self knowledge. You see, you can’t control what you don’t know.
I – Okay, what is a lunaqueen?
H – A lunaqueen is a female who makes knowing herself and mastering her emotions a priority, thus gaining self-control.
I – Sounds very interesting, I will have to get my copies, and I encourage all of you listening to this or reading it to do likewise. Well Helen, our time is up. I have thoroughly enjoyed this interview and I hope we can do it again in the future. Do you have some closing remarks?
H – First of all let me thank you for asking for and making this interview possible. I have enjoyed it also. In closing I would like to encourage people to take knowing themselves seriously. The world changes when individuals change. The greatest change is the change that happens within, this is what we have the power to change. We must stop looking at other people and trying to get them to change when we can’t control one cell in our own body. Forget about controlling others, make control over yourself possible. The following is the text from an interview by a person who chooses to remain anonymous and Helen Bevel, the wife of Reverend James Luther Bevel and the mother of Aaralyn Mills. This interview took place during April, 2010.
Interviewer - Good Afternoon. I’m so glad you have agreed to this interview.
Helen Bevel – Well I’m looking forward to it. Thank you for asking.
I – Now, Mrs. Bevel..
H – You can call me Helen
I – Okay, Helen you were married to Reverend James L. Bevel and the two of you had six children is that correct?
H – My late husband and I had five children, three girls and two boys. I had a daughter when I met Bevel.
I – Where you and Rev. Bevel divorced?
H – Yes, however in our tradition divorce like marriage is really just a piece of paper. I mean we were married 13 years before we made it legal in 1981. So the divorce didn’t end our marriage although many people based on the cultural norm believed we did, and acted in that manner.
I – So are you saying that in your tradition marriage is forever even though you may go thru divorce proceedings, other legal marriages, etc.
H – Yes, that is what I am saying. Marriage is an agreement and the agreement does not depend on paper or legal structures. It’s between the parties and God.
I – So what agreement did you and Rev. Bevel have?
H – Well, we agreed that the society as it is is based on a violent foundation which was rooted in the people that make up the society (including ourselves). So the next agreement was that each of us would work to eradicate from our self all aspects of the society and create a new society or system of relationships that is built on being healthy (physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually) and nonviolence.
I – Sounds like this agreement would include many others.
H – Yes, that is true; we further agreed to have children and to raise them to be healthy and nonviolent.
I – So excuse me for my bluntness, but wasn’t Rev. Bevel accused and found guilty of engaging in incest with one of your daughters as a minor? Did that nullify the agreement?
H – I can see how you would come to such a conclusion however, I said the agreement takes into account that we were born in sin and shaped in iniquity or a violent society and that we would work to get the violence out of ourselves. Incest and all sexual perversions are a part of this violent society. I mean no child is born a criminal. Criminal activity is something you learn. It is learned behavior not nature’s plan. Uprooting the particular malady and finding means and methods for doing this is a work in progress.
I – Do you believe that pedophilia or sexual offenders can be rehabilitated. It is a belief in the society that they can’t be healed.
H – Again the violent society has a lot of dead ends that say something can’t be done. Where there is a will there is a way, and whatever the mind of man can conceive, the mind of man can achieve. I believe that a person can be restored to the state of purity and innocence that they came to the planet with and let me add the level of health. And in that I believe this is achievable.
I – That’s interesting. How would you know if a person has overcome pedophilia? Do you chance them interacting with a child and abusing another one?
H – Well, there maybe several ways, but I know bio-feedback is one sure way. You just connect a person up to the electrodes and show them pictures of children and if they have the problem after therapy then it will show up on the register. I mean I never agreed with alcoholics anonymous (once an alcoholic, always an alcoholic). Alcoholism has a cause and the cause can be known and eliminated leaving the person whole once again. Alcoholism is not the norm, but a malady that has taken the person away from the norm. As a violent society violence is the norm and you have to understand this.
I – I hear you; I will have to do some research on biofeedback to determine the validity of what you said.
H – The lie detector test is based on bio-feedback. And let me say that “All truth carries proof.”
I – Okay. So I understand that it was your daughter that pressed charges against her father. Do you have any animosity towards Bevel for what he did?
H – I once did. It took a long time for me to overcome my hatred and animosity. There was even a time when I plotted to kill him. Once I had the means, my compassionate nature kicked in and I just wanted to see him healed. I realized that I had been forgiven for having murdered my unborn child once (abortion), which I consider a worse crime than what he did. I mean I took a child’s life, so that the child would never see the light of day. He ruined a child’s life with the possibility of her being able to heal herself. So God forgave me for my sin, who was I to not forgive another. My greatest regret is that he never experienced living void of the lie, guilt, shame and fear around what he did.
I – The lie, what are you referring to?
H – Well, Bevel never acknowledged that he did what he did.
I – Are you sure that he did do it. I mean considering his record of achievement one would have to question if he were set-up or whether there was a conspiracy to destroy his character, which is what he said happened.
H – There is a scripture that states, “When a man’s ways please the Lord, he makes even his enemy to be at peace with him.” There is no doubt in my mind that he molested our daughter.
I – Why do you say that?
H – Well we raised our children to tell the truth. One of the only things they would get in trouble for was lying. Our daughter would never concoct a lie on her father, she loved her father and if she said he did it, he did it. Our daughter had a rich relationship with her father beyond the sexual input he imposed. They had a real father-daughter relationship.
I – What do you mean by a real father-daughter relationship?
H – I mean a relationship where daddy makes sure that you get up on time for school and have breakfast that he cooks. Where he takes you shopping, helps you resolve conflict with siblings and other, gives you good advice and engages in meaningful work projects with you. This is what I mean.
I – So you are saying that Bevel lied.
H – Yes he lied and he did not have the courage or the needed support to tell the truth.
I – What support would he need to tell the truth?
H – Well, we created an environment for our children whereby they could tell the truth without fear of punishment. The truth about anything would call for a discussion and examination of what ever the problem was. Bevel did not have any support for telling the truth. In fact many of those around him before and during the trial acted like sycophants. They would not even consider that Bevel had erred and examine all the facts. They just acted as if he needed there protection and went on to create a conspiracy theory. It is said that a good death is one where a person gets to speak the truth about themselves and reconcile with those close to them.
I - So your children were raised to tell the truth?
H – Yes. Now Bevel was not raised to tell the truth. In fact as a Black man, in order for him to maintain his life he had to tell a lie. Telling the truth was against the law just like reading.
I – What do you mean, please explain that.
H – Black men had to lie and act like it was alright when there mothers, wives, daughters and others were raped or murdered. They had to lie and pretend that they went along with White folk’s insanity. Bevel was born on Joe Peu’s Plantation in IttaBena, Mississippi, and he learned all the mannerisms of the plantation, as did everyone in the south. Of course there were some brave souls who knew the true and living God that garnished the respect of some White folk, but by and large the majority were afraid to stand up and speak and be the truth.
I – Really?
H – Yes, now when you study the plantation system you find a number of maladies that people suffer from having there origin there. The prison industrial complex is no different and the so-called justice system is not about justice but punishment. Incest has a foundation in slavery and the plantation system and sexual perversion permeates the penal systems. There is no justice and no avenue for people to be truthful, lest they accept punishment which is cruel and inhumane.
I – How is incest connected to the plantation system?
H – Well, slaves did not have the luxury of pursuing relationship on other plantations. I mean Tom, couldn’t say, “Master Joe, I’m going over to Master Sam’s Plantation to court Ms. Sue.” No, this was not possible. Slaves on a plantation had to release their sexual energy with those who were on the same plantation and most often those were relatives, especially on the small plantations. So incest proliferated. This practice didn’t just go away in the people living in the 21st century or after the Civil Rights Act or The Right to Vote Movement. There has been no therapeutic process to eradicate the trauma, ills and injuries that slavery produced for over 400 years here in the Americas. These landmark agreements which Bevel was greatly instrumental in forging were not therapeutic; they were social contracts that had limitations. Inbreeding on the plantation became the norm. The only time plantation occupants got to mate outside of family members was when the stud (who was taken from plantation to plantation) showed up or when the females were taken to the horrendous stud farms, or when the master, his sons, or the overseer or visiting White male raped the Black woman. So this type of interaction is a learned behavior which became acceptable. There is a lot of guilt and shame around it, especially when a person like Bevel realizes that it is not acceptable in the larger society, however what could he do. When you are raised to act a certain way from childhood, even if it is bad behavior, other than a therapeutic process being engaged in to correct the behavior it consists. If you were raised to speak Spanish and found yourself being punished if you spoke Spanish, you would have to learn Spanish and still your English might slip sometimes while talking.
I – I can see a lot in what you are saying. So Bevel was a product of the plantation system and incest was acceptable.
H – Correct.
I – Well, didn’t he know it was wrong?
H – I’m sure a part of him understood this, but there was the other part that was a victim of incest and sexual molestation that had not been healed. He was a victim as a child.
I – Are you saying that he had two personalities?
H – Maybe more. I believe he had many personalities.
I – How did you come to that conclusion?
H – I lived with him for 15 years. We lived together, worked together, traveled together. Most times we were inseparable. In that time I got to see a lot, but I never saw the sexual perversion. That part of him didn’t come out around me except if you look at his wanting many wives.
I – So you didn’t know he was incestuous is that correct?
H – When I met Bevel I was 22 years old and had lived a pretty sheltered life. He was 35 and completed a major part of his movement work. I didn’t know incest or sexual perversions existed. So if it did show its ugly head I probably would have been ignorant of the signs and symptoms. I was shocked when I found out about what he had done to our daughter and developed amnesia because I couldn’t cope with it. I could not understand how he could have done. It took me years and therapy to come to grips with it, just the possibility much less the acceptance that he did it. I had gotten to know the personalities of the great liberator, the problem solver, the clinician, the brother, the husband, the father the giver, the advisor, the orator, the preacher, the teacher, the farmer, the historical figure, the philosopher, the nonviolent scientist, the angry man, the physically abusive man, the man who could curse like a sailor, and the sexually promiscuous man. In my wildest dreams I could never have imagined that he would have a desire to have sex with a child. Practically every women that he met would throw herself at him, so he had a lot of women to choose from all the time. The word enigma would adequately define Bevel.
I – How is your daughter doing?
H – She is still healing as is all of our family. The trial, family disputes and breakups all of that was quite an ordeal. My daughter did what she had been told to do by her father. He told her to never let anyone oppress her and if someone tried to then she was to do whatever had to be done to eliminate the oppression. She is very brave and was torn in having to take her father to court. She and her siblings (many from other wives) attempted to reason with him outside of court, but he had pride which the Bible says goeth before a fall.
I – What lesson did you get from all of that?
H – More than anything I saw the workings of God who has shown by the example of Bevel that no matter who a person is they are fallible and subject to be in error. Man is not to be worshipped. Any good works that man (male/female) do are under the auspices of God who is due the credit. In addition I see how God put this impediment on Bevel so that the world would be forced to look at the sexual abuse of children and do something about it. I mean what more vivid example of this problem is there? The fact that it could exist in a man like Bevel is evidence that all of us, our children and future generations are not safe. Can there be a more vivid example than a man of Bevel’s caliber and achievements?. If he didn’t have this impediment he would have been damn near perfect. I like to say, “A flawed diamond is better than a perfect brick.” Bevel was a diamond that was flawed, and yet even in this state he was able to create a revolution that aided in the growth and development of man towards a nonviolent civilized status. Those who throw stones at him, need to look at their lives and wonder, what have I done in my unflawed (brick like) state. “He who is without sin let him cast the first stone.”
I – So you see all of this as an act of God?
H – Yes, God can take anyone and use them for his good work. Bevel did good works during his life; most of it was directed at healing himself of the ravages of slavery. He worked to overcome the limitations and injuries that injustice wrought. He however was incapable of overcoming his sexual addiction, because the society had not advanced a therapy capable of healing sexual perversions. So he suffered all of his life. He never knew peace, justice or forgiveness, nor the honor that is due someone who has given so much and this is the saddest part of all. Bevel set-up nonviolent clinical contexts, which I now understand more clearly now. He was seeking to heal himself. He constantly challenged himself on his lust and promiscuity. He questioned his actions and the actions of those around him. He had few peers in this. He crucified himself daily, but I didn’t understand what was at the root of his strivings and searching. He didn’t want lust to control him, but he was incapable of uprooting it because the therapies capable of doing this were not available to him.
I – Yes, Reverend Bevel did a lot of good in his lifetime, I must agree. A lot of his good works are not even known.
H – This is true. Most of the credit that is due him is given to Dr. King who was the spokesman for the organization and others, whereas Bevel was the man behind the scenes initiating actions, organizing people, teaching nonviolence, refusing to compromise, and maintaining the nonviolent posture until demands were met.
I – I heard that you are writing a book about Bevel, is this true?
H – Yes I am writing a book call “The Luthers, James and Martin, Bevel and King.”
I – Why Luther?
H – Because both of their middle names are Luther.
I – Oh, what a wonderful title and I can’t wait to read the book.
H – I am asking anyone who knew the two of them together or separately to share their experience so that I can make it a part of the book.
I – You just published two other books recently is that correct? Please tell me about them.
H – I just published two books that are available at lulu.com. They are “LunaQueen, The Divinely Feminine Art of Using A Lunar Charting Calendar For Self-Care” and “LunaQueen, The Journey From Lunatic To LunaQueen.”
I – Interesting titles. What are they about?
M – These books are designed to challenge females at their core to take a look at how their actions have led to the crisis in the world today. Females are very powerful being and our power for the most part is being used unconsciously to the detriment of all. For example females say they want to be free, however freedom entails responsibility. How can females claim to be responsible when the only so-called achievement in forty+ years is hailed as Roe vs. Wade or the right to murder and unborn child. Females waste money, time, energy and resources fighting for a so-called choice that is merely a reaction to a failure to plan. Choice does not take place after the sex act but before. Everyone knows that sex can lead to conception so the choice has to be made before the sex act, with a conscious plan as to whether to achieve or avoid conception. This is a choice that is both responsible and empowering, and it is a primary choice.
I – Didn’t you say you had an abortion earlier?
H – Yes, this is how I got involved in this line of work. I had to do recompense for my actions. There is always a price to pay for error. Mine is to bring consciousness of the unconsciousness in females that cause these things to happen. The first book provides females of all ages with a lunar charting calendar that can be used to study the self and to empower the self. It also provides a curriculum in principled living. The second book provides females with proof of lunacy and a means for examining lunatic actions and changing them to LunaQueen actions.
I – What is a lunatic?
H – A lunatic is a female or her son that is influenced by external forces with no understanding or knowledge of these forces as a result of a lack of self knowledge. You see, you can’t control what you don’t know.
I – Okay, what is a lunaqueen?
H – A lunaqueen is a female who makes knowing herself and mastering her emotions a priority, thus gaining self-control.
I – Sounds very interesting, I will have to get my copies, and I encourage all of you listening to this or reading it to do likewise. Well Helen, our time is up. I have thoroughly enjoyed this interview and I hope we can do it again in the future. Do you have some closing remarks?
H – First of all let me thank you for asking for and making this interview possible. I have enjoyed it also. In closing I would like to encourage people to take knowing themselves seriously. The world changes when individuals change. The greatest change is the change that happens within, this is what we have the power to change. We must stop looking at other people and trying to get them to change when we can’t control one cell in our own body. Forget about controlling others, make control over yourself possible. Abortion As Birth Control Is A Foolish Idea
“It is only in knowing oneself from the inside out that control can be exerted as it relates to ones emotions, thoughts, language and actions. To often females are trying to control everything and everybody but lack self-control because you can’t control what you don’t know and females are sorely lacking self-control. The greatest evidence of this can be seen by the mounting abortion statistics. Abortion as birth control is a foolish notion. It derives from females not having a sense of self and knowledge of self, for if females knew themselves they would know that the body provides reliable signals each month to inform them of when they are in their fertile time. Just this knowledge alone known would allow females to control whether they get pregnant or not, providing them with a primary choice. Instead females would rather waste time, energy and money squabbling about there right to choose. Choice begins before the sex act is entered into, in that everybody knows that sex can lead to pregnancy and once conception takes place there can only be a reaction to a failure to plan. Females invest in this irresponsible action rather than the later and this has caused a great lost to our world. It bogs our legislative bodies down, creates family division, creates millions of unwanted children who deserve better upon entering the earth plane, it causes massive health problems and has even been the cause of death of doctors who participate and it leaves females guilt ridden and shame faced while at the same time blaming others for their lack of knowledge. I speak as one who had an abortion and this work is my means for ending the ignorance that victimized me.
As females continue to foster the unconscious, shadow self or dark side of the moon, they reinforce in the external, physical world chaos, confusion, pain, suffering, lies, fear, hatred and a host of toxic emotions (lust, greed, envy, jealousy, covetousness, etc. that has created the violent system in which we live. As first teachers to both males and females, ignorant mothers have spurred a world of violence, as we allow principalities to govern us, which leads to premature and agonizing death.
Spirit man is Mind, the creative intelligence that is eternal. Trapped in physical bodies by forced and wage labor, we have simply forgotten who we are and thus our power to create a world that sustains us in the highest possible manner has been lost. We must regain that which has been lost and live up to the true calling of man to establish peace, order, prosperity and joy on the earth. We the living, are here now on the earth with this mandate. Let us awaken from the Land of Nod (sleep), shake off the lethargy and recognize that our survival is a given and labor not to support ourselves by menial jobs, but work to create a world that is fit for future generations of our seed to flourish and live abundant, fulfilling lives, by pooling our collective intelligence, gifts, skills, talents, time, resources and energy.
Let us be pioneers of a new way of living here on earth. A way that is just, loving, kind and principled. We have nothing to lose and so much to gain. To continue in the ways of our recent ancestors is to court disaster, failure, gloom, doom and destruction. Let us be brave advocates of self-exploration. For all we need is within us, waiting to be mined as valuable gold hidden from us only when we neglect to know the truth of our being.”
